“A nice comfortable room for the night”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 3, 2014

This is my return visit and my friend's first experience of an airport hotel. We were very pleased with our room and the seamless connection with the terminal and trains. In fact, as the hotel rate was very good and the Meitetsu Sky express train very comfortable and fast, we thought it might be a good base for travelling in the region instead of being at Nagoya station.

I make my transit to a Hokkaido at Nagoya. Transit flight is on the next day for both route. So I stayed at Centrair for two separate nights. My experience is good on both stay. Room is spacious with good layout. Free Wifi is available. Not all staff can speak good English but all are helpful. Things need to improve? The pillow is too hard for me. Breakfast is fair.

It an excellent hotel which is next to the airport. Service is good. Food is great. Only it is to far from town. Transportation is wanderfull . Need not wait long for transport to go to anywhere. For to in towner there's a lot of parking space.

This hotel served a purpose for me. I had to catch an early morning flight, and rather than stay in Nagoya city, and wake up madly early, I decided to stay here. The hotel is attached to the airport terminal, so the location could not have been better suited to my purpose. The room was extremely small, but very clean. The view was very nice - i could see the airport terminal building and the planes landing & taking off, without being disturbed by the noise, thanks to good sound insulation. I didn't avail of any of the facilities, so can't comment about those. One thing I found absolutely unacceptable was the lack of WiFi in the rooms, only wired internet. The airport terminal has free WiFi, but not the hotel. C'mon guys, join the 21st century!

Centrair Hotel is literally minutes away from the arrival and departure level of the airport, and the train station is right there. For a short stay, this hotel is convenient especially with early morning and late night arrivals. I was able to check into my room within ten minutes after stepping out from the arrival hall. I also requested a room with an airport view, and I was not disappointed with the view of the main runway and international terminal. However the room size is small, just like most hotels in Japan. There is nothing fancy about the decoration, as it is a basic business hotel. The front desk staffs are friendly and speak good English. There is no wifi in the room, but complimentary ethernet line was available inside the room. Free wifi was also available in the lobby. For USD$100/night, it was an acceptable stay, and for food, there is a convenient store in front of the hotel, as well as a Western restaurant. The hotel restaurant only offers breakfasts and lunches. However, the airport has a giant food court and shopping area in the departure hall. So there are plenty of food options throughout the day, and even for late nights, you can purchase basic food in the convenient store.

I highly recommend it if you have a late arrival or an early morning flight to catch.

The hotel does not offer free wifi in the room. There is a wired internet connection. Free wifi in the lobby. For a hotel this expensive there should be free wifi in the room.Room like every hotel in Japan clean. A bit small. Very good beds. Hotel is within minutes walking to the airport. To go to downtown Nagoya count on about 40 minutes by train.

This hotel appeals because of its fabulous location. It is a minute away from the trains & buses into Nagoya & just a couple of minutes walk from the airport's arrival/departure areas - all undercover which was a blessing given typhoon rains in October. I would not stay here if I were sightseeing as it is too far from town but if you have an early flight to catch, it can't be beat being much closer than the other 2 airport hotels across the road/carparks (but they are cheaper too). The room is nice, clean & very quiet but wifi would have been appreciated. The breakfast was adequate but I've had much better in Japan.

Room Tip: Make sure to ask for a nonsmoking room if you dislike stinky rooms.
