We the Ruddy, Simpson, and O'Donnell families from Canada enjoyed our stay at the Valley Hotel. There were 11 of us - all family.
The family operating the Inn could not have been more gracious,
accomodating to our needs.
Mr. and Mrs. Williamson and family deserve a big "Thank You! for being such great hosts

I booked the Valley Hotel for a two night stay while in the Enniskillen area largely based on the good reviews the hotel received on Tripadvisor. It is ideally placed on the main Belfast-Enniskillen road and is well signed as you enter Fivemiletown.

A nice friendly welcome on arrival from the staff reception desk staff and they offered to have my luggage delivered to my room once I was checked in.

Rooms had been recently refurbished and were of a high standard. Initial impression was a clean, fresh smelling and spotless room which was well maintained and tastefully decorated. The room was well equiped and included data ports, an LCD television. plenty of electric sockets and an ironing board and trouser press.

The bathroom was gleaming and had a good selections of soaps, shampoos and lotions along with a sewing kit, shoe-shine kit and shower cap. It was nice to see that the Valley have retained these things when so many of the large chains are pennypinching and no longer provide them.

Dining is provided in the hotel in either the restaurant or you can order food in the Bar. I chose to eat in the bar. Meals are prepared fresh to order and I found them to be very good quality. It seemed to be busy on both nights and many people sounded to be local which is always a good sign. Breakfast was served in the Bordaux restaurant and again the service and quality of food was of a high standard.

Overall, the service at the Valley is outstanding. The major chains should go to the Valley to see good customer service in action. Too many times I stay with my work at major chains and find their idea of interacting with customers is limited to a few phrases learnt parrot-fashion which they repeat to every customer. It is refreshing to see that staff at the Valley have not gone down this route are all genuinely friendly and still treat their customers as GUESTS. They seem to go that extra mile to provide top class service and a superb place to stay.

Hope to be back there again soon.

We booked a two day break at The Valley Hotel, which included BB and one evening meal. The rooms, although small are spotless, really nice and comfortable and included a working plasma TV, a full hospitality tray, trouser press and iron. The bathroom was also spotless and had absolutely everything that was needed, including all those lovely little bottles!!

The food was excellent with generous portions. We eat breakfast ,lunch and dinner in the hotel and we were not at all disappointed. In fact I would make the 1 hour journey from Belfast just to enjoy the lovely food.

The staff are all so friendly and efficient. Could not be more helpful.

All in all I would say that this little hotel is a gem and in my opinion should be awarded 3 star status.

We have taken my grandmother to this hotel for quite some time now just for lunch, and love the food everytime we visit.

Over the last two years we have used the hotel to cater for the christenings of our two children. On the first occassion everything was wonderful, the staff, the food, the surronderings and over all everything. On the second occassion we stayed in the hotel ourselves with the two children. They were able to accomodate us with two travel cots, and the stay was fantastic.

As we always say you can't fault the food in anyway, or the service..

We would like to pass on thanks to the staff for wonderful lunches, and for catering our two christenings and being so good in everything they do.

We have had quests from England on both occassions and they have had wonderful times in the valley hotel.

Thank you so much looking forward to seeing you all again.

We travelled to Fivemiletown during the Hallowe'en holidays for a one night stay. We asked on booking for a room to accommodate my wife and I, and our two young kids. We were allocated a super family room - two rooms adjoining, which the kids and really adored. The refurbished rooms have been finished to a very high standard that impressed us no end - a fresh, clean style with all the mod cons. No complaints at all.

We dined in the bistro that evening and thoroughly enjoyed the food - I had a really tasty duck, as good as I've had anywhere and better than most.

Service was spot on also, the staff came across as well trained and anticpiated our needs when they arose. Bar service was particularly good, attentive but not overbearing.

The real difference with the Valley and many other Hotels, in my opinion, is that the people who own the hotel actually run it, and they care enormously about satisfying their guests. Many bigger, and as they would lead you to believe, "better" hotels miss that personalisation. For example, one simple thing that made an impression on us was that on the kids bed were left a couple of bed time story books. Nice touch.

This hotel deserves success and if it continues to do things the way they were done during our stay, expect to battle for a bedroom here in a short time.
