We visited this restaurant last week; a group of adults with a teenager.
We chose to eat in Santa Luzia as we had driven through two days before on our way from Barril Beach to Tavira and liked the river front setting with the fishing boats.
This restaurant was picked out by us as we strolled down the waterfront because it looked lively and offered a good range of dishes,
Two shared a fish stew, which came in a huge, steaming casserole (brilliant) I had the grilled prawns which were huge and tasty, another friend had the swordfish and the boy chicken nuggets
(silly boy in my opinion!!)
Service was fine, quite fast and our portions, together with bread, olives etc first off more than filled us. I managed to find space for an excellent slice of almond cake, the others had chocolate mousse and a sorbet. The wine was good value and pleasant.
I would recommend this restaurant and it was a shame we were two nights too early for a fado evening.
