Agree about the rooms being a little tired and in need of some TLC but mine was clean and well stocked. I was part of a group of about 38 golfers who merge onto this hotel every year from all over the country. I can't fault the service or the food and I think it is great value for money, two breakfasts, two evening meals, three rounds of golf and two nights sleep for £150! I did think that the bar and wine list was a little pricey but you have no choice as there is no local hostilery for miles.
If you are looking for a romantic break look elsewhere, if your driving factor is a golf break with above average food you would struggle to find better.More
