On our 3 weeks of Namibia holiday, we found this place to be one of the best.
Friendly, professional, excellent food at a very good rate.
The staff really knows what service and hospitality means.
the large rooms have stunning views as far as Brandberg and game comes to drink.
Interesting live- museum with San bushmen (Village) just around the corner.
very recommendable!

One of the loveliest places to stay in Namibia, in the middle of the Erongo Nature Conservancy on a lodge set in pristine wilderness. The bungalows (10 in all, two rooms per building) are large, extremely comfortable and superbly laid out, under thatched traditional roofs. The local nature walks to the rock paintings are easy to follow yourself and completely safe. For the more adventurous there are beautiful walks and climbs all over the property. The sundowner drive combines both astonishing views of the farm looking 50km in every direction toward the Brandberg mountain which glows red as the sun sets with an interesting presentation of the night sky after dark. The drinks are basic on the drive but the food in the lodge is good and very nicely served. Game features prominently. The deal is B&B but realistically there is nowhere else to eat within miles and miles so this is the only choice. Slightly varied breakfasts, one day superb, the next slightly jaded. Charming staff, mostly German speaking guests and when we were there our party had the place to ourselves part of the time.

Ai Aiba is situated in the Erongo Mountains in a spectacular setting that can truly be called in the middle of nowhere. Two rooms form one thatched roof bungalow. The reception/bar/restaurant is open on three sides with grandiose views over the area. One morning for breakfast we were treated to three giraffes grazing in the distance. Food is good and generous. Staff is friendly and helpful. The big attraction here are the thousands of rockpaintings. You'll have to do your own entertainment at night. The sundowner drive is worth it for the incedible views, but the liquid refreshments are not as generously served as in other lodges, but then the sundowner drive here is a lot less expensive than elsewhere.
