I've travelled quite extensively around Tuscany now and Almora is, without doubt, my favourite - comfortable, artistic and beautifully restored, the house is a sanctuary! I didn't want to leave and fully intend to go back as soon as possible. Dado and Kyle felt like friends rather than hosts - a warm, friendly, helpful, interesting and delightful couple, I would recommend Almora to all :)

The most discerning worldly traveler would appreciate this inn because the restoration of this house is truly amazing in how the original charm of the building is preserved yet with all modern facilities. It is all very tastefully done and simple. There are several comfortable outdoor sitting areas where we got a sense of peace, tranquility and contentment. The artwork (by Kyle, the owner) is wonderful and well displayed everywhere. We were pleasantly surprised that the place seen in reality is even better than the photos. The homemade cake by Dado is fresh, light and quite delicious. Above all, we were very impressed with the owners who were most kind, hospitable and accommodating to us while there. We highly recommend this B&B and look forward to going back there when we are in Tuscany.

Beautiful and relaxing little slice of Toscana!. A great base to explore the region from. Do yourself a favor and stay a few days at least to really soak up the atmosphere of Almora. Plenty to enjoy from just plain relaxing and reading in one of the chairs scattered around the B and B, day trips to Lucca/Pisa/Florence (the list is endless), beach time down in Pietrasanta Marina/Hiking in the mountains and everything else in between. We were here recently for 4 nights and will defiantly come back again we loved it so much. Kyle and Dado are fantastic hosts, very open, friendly and heartfelt... restaurant recommendations were spot on! The B and B is beautifully restored, l it has a lovely holistic organic feel that just makes you relax. Highly recommended :-)
