I couldn't help but be lured to this place by the eye catching 'Sir Paul Smith' signed poster, endorsing this eatery....
Whilst looking very appealing from the street, this restaurant seriously failed to impress on many levels, although in particular the most important one, the food.
My partner and I ate here at the end of a week traveling around Tuscany, and I am shocked that this was not only the most expensive meal, but also the worst we had during our stay.
The dishes were over priced and under par. My partner paid €24 for a rare (uncooked) pork chop, with no accompanying vegetables, so he also had to order some white beans to accompany at €8. Making his main course €32, which would have been fine, if it were good. Alas it wasn't.
We shared a desert of chocolate and pare tart, which turned out to be a cake. When I asked for some cream to accompany this dry offering, I got a large bowl of semi warm custard. This custard, which may well have been from a tin, was the best bit of the desert.
If you want good food, avoid at all costs would be our advice.
