We stayed for 2 weeks in this place and we made very good memories.
If you are looking for a trip to discover new cultural attractions or a trip for rest in a calm area, this is the right place.
The house itself, is a typical 300 years Tuscan farmhouse and is properly equipped by the owner : Kitchen, bathroom, washing machine, WIFI and entertainments (TV, cable and games).
However, there are so many things to do outside and we didn’t have time to use the TV, etc.
The house is also clean and there are enough towels available.
And the terrace with its BBQ is a very beautiful place for supper.
The owner is very nice and always available for giving advice on what to do and where to go.
The village has about 50 other houses with a cute café and the inhabitants are overall kind to tourists
And there are many beautiful villages around that you can discover (in feet or by car)
If you go there, never miss the chance to eat at Trattoria Sandrino restaurant and an agroturismo close to this place (I forgot the name, but you can ask the owner)
By about 100 km driving from the house in any direction, you can visit many Tuscan cities and attractions (Florence, Pisa, Cinq Terres, Lucca, Siena, various beaches, etc.)
And finally, the nature of the region is rich and beautiful; you will see a rainbow of colors at any time.

I've stayed at Casa Della Pia with my family, several times now and it never fails to impress.
Set in a tiny quiet Tuscan village with amazing views into and across the valley. The accommodation is typical Tuscan, well maintained and very clean.
Ideally you need a car to get there and explore although there is a bus service. Paul and Nadia, your host are incredibly helpful and provide excellent information including help with restaurant and activity bookings and especially the guided local walks. We ended up at an amazing local restaurant in the hills on one of the walks.
It's about a 30 minute drive to Pescia and about an hour to Pisa. After a hard days exploring, it was wonderful just sitting in the garden/terrace on an evening with a vino and watching the sunset... Bliss.
