Been meaning to eat here for a while as we are local, and finally got around to booking. Why did we wait so long? Very welcoming. We brought a bottle of chilled wine wth us (as the restaurant is not licensed) and were immediately offered a cooler - and they don't charge corkage. The starters and mains were both excellent, steaks cooked perfectly as ordered. Couldn't fault it in any way. We were too full for a dessert, but no doubt we will try one next time as we will definitely be coming here again.

Several more visits to eat here this year, both lunchtime and evening. Standards are still fantastic, culminating in a great Chrixtmas meal last saturday night.....full blowout for £16.95....where can you beat that for quality and price ? Emma and John have a great thing going here, and I am delighted to see it being well used by locals and visitors alike.....reckon it's going to be difficult to get a table soon, as word gets around !!

Great food. Lovely atmosphere. Great spot for a bite to eat opposite the Church House Inn. The food is locally sourced, and the freshness speaks for itself. Roast dinners cant be beat.
