Had lunch today at the Ginger Fox. Food, beer, wine and service was all excellent. Price was pretty good too. It's kind of off the beaten track but really only 5 minutes off the A23. Well worth a visit.

I went with friends who are locals and I have been to other 'ginger' establishments with them. The Ginger Fox whilst ambiance and service was good the food was definitely not up to standard. starters were very disappointing and we all found it difficult to find anything that really appealed. My main course was good but one of the party had a rib eye steak which was supposed to be medium but was more bleu and very tough. To be fare my friends was offered a desert free of charge. My friends who had all been before were amazed at the lack of choice on the Blackboard and were very disappointed generally.

Recently we ate at this restaurant to celebrate a birthday.

The food was fantastic, very well cooked. Its on the posh side of pub grub but not so posh that the portions are small.

Service was also very good, the staff were polite and never had to wait too long.

The only downside to this is that you do end up paying quite a lot for the experience.

A little off the beaten track but a fine pub / restaurant with a large garden overlooking the South Downs (if you are tall enough!!!). The menu is a little "individual" but with excellent quality of food. Prices are mid / higher end for the area but certainly worth a go in our opinion

My Mum and Dad treated us to dinner at The Ginger Fox last night. Very relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Small but well formed menu. I had the vegetarian tasting plate which has five different super-tasty items on it. Everyone was pleased with their flavourful, freshly cooked dishes and for all our family to be pleased at once in a restaurant is a challenge!
