We spent 2 weeks over Christmas and New Year at Villa Ann and had a wonderful time.
The property is located in Nazaret which is a fabulous area and the perfect base for exploring the island. The beautiful old town of Teguise is just up the road and there is a plentiful supply of superb restaurants and bodegas!
Villa Ann is a fabulous property and has incredible views. Facilities are excellent and we particularly enjoyed having a few games of pool and enjoying some festive TV in the evenings! The pool area is extremely private-Unfortunately the weather though dry was very breezy so just a little too chilly to swim and fully capitalise on the sunbathing! Did not deter us though from thoroughly enjoying exploring the island and visiting the many attractions Lanzarote has to offer.
Kim and Brian were absolutely fantastic and did everything they could to ensure we had the best holiday - this included providing us with an incredible welcome pack complete with festive treats and Kim even put up a Christmas tree and decorations for us which was incredibly thoughtful and we greatly appreciated this.
In our opinion, we couldn't have chosen a better location-the area is away from the crowds which is exactly what we wanted.
We had a really memorable holiday and a very special Christmas and New Year.We would thoroughly recommend this property to people looking to enjoy a relaxing break away from the more built up areas. A gem of a find!!
We spent Christmas here as a family with adult teenage children. For us the pool was not essential but it was lovely and private, locked for safety, and good sunloungers were present. The pool table was superb - played daily with varying amounts of competition!
The Sky tv and wifi were excellent and suited all of us - we (regrettably) managed some work via the wifi, and the youngsters were able to watch the test match and communicate with friends. Nazaret is very centrally placed for exploring and access to anywhere on the island was easy. For those (like us) who dislike touristy areas, this could not have been better. However if you wished to access a beach a short drive of 15/20 mins would get you there easily and you could be discerning about where you wanted to go (head to the northeast and there are lovely coves with very few (and mainly local) people on them. Want more of a buzz then head out to Puerto del Carmen - just 20 mins.
Driving is easy despite being on hte "wrong side" for us Brits!
Kim and Brian were affable helpful hosts, the welcome pack on arrival was second to none, and the rooms are tastefully and simply decorated. We particularly enjoyed their nod to Cesar Manrique (Lanzarote's architect /sculptor that influenced and controlled development of the island in a sympathetic fashion),with the wall art.
Kim's communication before during and after was superb and her directions from the airport were faultless!
It felt as though really they wanted their guests to have the best possible holiday, and we will certainly visit the island again.
