Description: Had a friend recommend it and I have to say, one of the best Steaks I have ever tasted and the Vegtables were clean, crisp and juicy. An English Tudor Style Decor. Will be back, perhaps to taste Pancakes this time. Family run and Nero the Owner who was also waiting the tables was a delight to deal with, very attentive.

“Dodgy decor but great food”
Reviewed March 9, 2014

We chose this place on line and had second thoughts when we arrived as it was practically empty and didn't look like the decor had been updated since the early 80's. When the food came out however my expectations were blown out of the water. Three of us had steak and it was really delicious and the helping was so generous I couldn't quite finish it (unheard of!) Great place for an enjoyable meal in a relaxed atmosphere.

“Not Good”
Reviewed February 14, 2014

Arranged for a large number of people to attend a Saturday morning breakfast. Service was poor had to wait over an hour for drinks and food. Not all meals were delivered and had to chase up staff. First coffee was served with sour milk took it back same problem with the second one took it back. third coffee was ok but did not really want it after the first two attempts. Won't be going back

“Not what it used to be : (”
Reviewed February 7, 2014

Not what is used to be! We'd been going to Flippin' Pancakes for years but it must have changed hands. Should have known something was wrong when we were the not customers at 10am on a Saturday. The service was non existent, the waiter didn't even speak! Pancakes weren't cooked through and the eggs were over cooked. There is nothing positive to say. We miss the old Flippin' Pancakes.

“What a fabulous range”
Reviewed February 4, 2014

Sometimes I miss living in the Dandenongs a there were so many great places to eat. Flippin' pancakes was one of them. They have a great menu range, plenty of seating but ensure you book on week-ends.
Oh well.....Great memories at least!

“Large portions”
Reviewed January 23, 2014

Very helpful and friendly staff. Good comprehensive breakfast menu and ‘sweet’ menu. We were a large group, perhaps 40 people, and I think the staff coped very well with all the different orders. My wife had a mushroom omelette, which was served flat rather than folded. It was thick and full of mushrooms, and nearly over lapped her plate because it was so large. With hindsight I should have had the same it looked so nice. The individual plates of food among the forty of us looked attractive, and all of the portions were large. This restaurant is not mean with its meals.
