“Fabulous treat”
Reviewed August 29, 2012

I arrived at the spa after cycling and walking most of the day. I booked a double special of full body scub and oil massage. It was a completely hedonistic treat. The spa is simple yet elegant and it was a very relaxing experiece. The masseuse was eccellent as was the facilities. After the massage i was taken to a sala on the banks of the Mekong to rest, drink tea and savour the moment. It was a great way to break a budget holiday in Laos. The total cost was 200,000 kip.
Well worth it and you are also keeping people employed locally.

“A true sanctuary”
Reviewed August 5, 2012

This wonderful place belongs to a very skilled french lady who set it up to help Laotian women running their own spa. You can still meet her at the front desk sometimes, which was good as she had some really helpful tips against my sun allergy.
The treatments are wonderful, the all-natural-ingredient creams and oils smell so amazing you want to eat them and the overall experience leaves you wanting to go back again. In between treatments you can relax outside overlooking the river. The massages are done skillful, but not too hard. And the prices are really reasonable - really! I stayed longer in Champassak just to go for another half-day treatment. Oh, one thing that apparently some weird people do not get: These massages are medicinal and cosmetic only, if you are looking for some other kind of "pleasure", search for it elsewhere and leave those lovely ladies alone.

“Heaven in Champasak”
Reviewed July 20, 2012

We found this spa, built and run by a warm, quietly spoken French woman, Natalie, as we walked through Champasak. Set in a lovely traditional wooden building, the staff are very professional and the massages are wonderful. They finish with a herbal tea and banana on the balcony overlooking the Mekong. We were so impressed we went back a second time and therefore experienced the massage, hair spa and facial,. They recommend a minimum treatment of 1.25 hours and why wouldn't you take the time in laid back Laos? Highly recommend it and how could you complain about $20 for 1 hour 15 mins of relaxation delivered with such professionalism.

“Really lovely - don't miss!”
Reviewed April 21, 2012

Champasak is really small and there isn't much to do, but between this spa and Wat Phu you could easily spend two full happy days there. This spa is amazing and you can chill out in this lovely shaded structure overlooking the mekong. Really professional and I wish i'd had more than a few hours there - worth a full day! I wouldn't have expected to rate a spa as a must do either, but I thought it was exactly that.

“very relaxing”
Reviewed February 29, 2012

beautiful, zen, spa in a surprising place. It is owned and managed by a really lovely French woman who is helping the villagers set up the spa to be self-sufficient enterprise. The spa is clean and we felt very pampered. The massages were average, but perhaps Lao/Thai massage is not really my thing. It is really worth a visit on the way back from the Temple.
