We stayed at the Ziwa Lodge in early September - a real family atmosphere with luxury touches (especially the beds and service we received). Genuinely warm-hearted, down-to-earth family and staff who run the lodge - meeting them all, especially Ralph and his family was one of the real gems of our trip to Kenya. The food and the showers are to die for - cannot thank the staff enough for looking after us and providing us with such good food - especially the 'bush' breakfasts which my 70 year old mother really enjoyed. The food was excellent - hope Joseph the chef stays on as will definitely stay there if I return to Kenya. Lodge is a few kilometres out of Nakuru - a really peaceful place but close enough to get to Nakuru easily.
