I love the place as it's full of peace and divinity. It's a beautiful place full of scenery and mountain view. But I don't like only one thing there that is Monkey..

“Taratarini Temple”

The Taratarini temple is one of the oldest pilgrimage centers of the Mother Goddess and is one of four major ancient Shakti Peethas in India.Tara Tarini temple is on the Kumari hills on the bank of the Rushikulya river in Ganjam District, 30 km from Berhampur, in the state of Odisha, India.

The temple could be visited from the town of Berhampur by booking an auto or cab for a moderate amount.

“Adorable place”

WE visited during night hours after SANFHYAARTI. DARSHAN was very comfortable as no crowd were there except us..A brass metal idol of Devis Tara n Tarani.. Very clean but full of monkeys.. Rope way has startr from hill bottom to temple.. A must see place for God Lovers..

“One of the Adi Shakti Peeth”

This is one of the important shakti Peeth of India and one of the four Adi Shakti Peeth. Rope ways are available to climb the temple as it is on a hilltop.

“Very good Shakti Peeth”

Good religious temple to spend weekend

Pros:
1) Transportation facility available, Food available
2) Ancient temple and historic Shakti Peeth
3) Temple for all goddess is there

Cons:
1) 30 km from city
