Liked Lakeland Plastics and HobbyCraft, both of whom have outlets but there were some empty premises. The garden centre was enormouse and stocked everything from plants, garden accessories to clothes and books.

We have eaten here several times but weren't at all impressed on our latest visit. After much indecision, we chose the roast beef meals but felt they were overpriced and not particularly appealing. Luckily we had used vouchers towards the cost which took the edge off our disappointment. The coffee was good and the desserts looked tempting but we decided to cut our losses and sadly left, feeling we wouldn't be likely to return in the near future.

The garden centre restaurant is an excellent lunch venue and easily accessible from the M40. Motorway service areas do not compare!
If you are local then the over 60's special on Mondays and Tuesdays for gardening club members (free membership) is a bargain with main course, dessert and tea for £7.95. (possibly not school holidays).
Food is self service with generous helpings and always excellent quality.

This garden centre has to be one of the best in the area, with everything a gardener could possibly need, from plants to garden buildings and everything in between. Make a point of visiting around Christmas time as the selection of goods for the Christmas Season is second to none.

I stumbled upon this little gem looking for Lakeland. It consists of quite a few stores with the main one being Wyvale Garden Centre.

There is also a Laura Ashley, Lakeland, Cotswolds, Hobbycraft, Cotton Traders, Aquatic shop etc.

The Lakeland is the main one for me as it is the nearest one to me and it is quite large. The Garden Centre is huge and also has a restaurant. This makes a nice change to Bicester Retail Outlet Centre and is not very far away so you could probably do both in one day. Happy Shopping!!
