“Very close to town centre”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 21, 2012

We stayed in Littlebury Hotel for four nights. First impression at the reception was not that good but overall it was worth while to stay. It is very close to Bicester town centre, just 3 mins working distance. Breakfast is really good and service is fantastic.
We are coming back in couple of weeks time again.
It is peace to stay and average hotel.

We had Bicester & North Oxford Cricket Club's end of season bash / prize giving at the Littlebury Hotel last night.
We had a drink in the bar and were shown through to the restaurant which was nicely laid out for us.
I had terrine, pork with crackling and chocolate meringue pud. The food was good and the service was friendly.
We all had a good night and I would not hesitate to go there again.

Mike

I cannot recommend this hotel at all. The hotel is quite dated and has very poor customer service.

After arriving as part of a wedding party, i mistakenly left the hotel key in the room.
Unfortunately, the hotel would not let me in (even though they knew i had paid for a room) so I spent hours waiting outside the hotel in the middle of the night. Any normal hotel would deal with situations of lost keys, but the attitude of staff here is atrocious. Extremely rude and unprofessional.

You have been warned

My partner & I stayed here whilst attending a wedding. The double room was clean and comfortable and I thought a good size. The hotel had a bar and the breakfast was of good size and quality. It had a charming character and the staff seemed friendly. It is a good location to explore the outlet village (if that's your thing) and seemed close to a bus stop to the town. It had a large onsite car park and small garden. Not much around the hotel apart from a hungry horse, so further exploration would involve a car or public transport. Tons more character then a chain hotel!

Overall a very good effort.

This hotel is located very centrally. Covenient if you are visiting Bicester Outlet Village (walking distance). All restaurants and pubs are on your doorstep if you fancy venturing out in the evening. Highly recommend Denis Turkish restaurant just few minutes walk from the hotel (please see my review of ths restaurant).

Hotel itself is very tired and desperately in need of refurb. Totally overpriced in my opinion. There are better hotels in the area. Always worth checking Booking.com and Laterooms. com for all latest deals.

An excellent family run hotel where the staff are always happy to help. There is a lovely feel to the hotel and you really are looked after well. The food is very good and it is only a short walk from the wonderful Bicester Town centre and Bicester Village. I don't understand what the bad reviews are referring to.

Room Tip: Speak to the staff - they are always happy to help

We stayed here after a wedding in bicester and luckily only for one night, staff very un-helpful as couldnt be bothered to even direct us to our rooms so after 10mins we did finally find them, very dated rooms but clean enough, the only good thing i can say is the breakfast is great but cant comment on the evening meals as we didnt eat at the hotel ! all said very good location for the town but im sure there is cheaper out there if your just going for a shopping trip.
