An excellent family run hotel where the staff are always happy to help. There is a lovely feel to the hotel and you really are looked after well. The food is very good and it is only a short walk from the wonderful Bicester Town centre and Bicester Village. I don't understand what the bad reviews are referring to.

Room Tip: Speak to the staff - they are always happy to help

We stayed here after a wedding in bicester and luckily only for one night, staff very un-helpful as couldnt be bothered to even direct us to our rooms so after 10mins we did finally find them, very dated rooms but clean enough, the only good thing i can say is the breakfast is great but cant comment on the evening meals as we didnt eat at the hotel ! all said very good location for the town but im sure there is cheaper out there if your just going for a shopping trip.

We stayed here for a christmas shopping trip to Bicester Shopping Village. It's in a great location, within a ten minute walk to the shopping village and you get to miss all the traffic and all the hassle of finding a parking space. Hotel grounds are lovely so would be nice in the summer too. We booked a double room, it was big enough for 5 people! Had a slight problem with the heating whilst we stayed there and the room was a bit cold so we called reception and within 10 mins they sorted it and supplied us with a portable heater whilst it was being sorted, which was lovely! Staff are very friendly, it's a very homely feeling. Breakfast was nice in the morning, bar drinks are reasonably priced with big selection. Also, Would definately recommend The Swan Inn for dinner, was 30 second walk and was wonderful!! Have to book as they only have 7 tables but worth it, food and staff are brilliant there!

chose this hotel due to its proximity to Bicester village . the owner was a pleasant gentlemen but staff were not very helpful. Breakfast was full English .

We stayed here recently as we planned a saturday shopping trip to Bicester Village. All the staff were very helpful, from dealing with them prior to the booking, giving advice/directions/recommendations etc. The breakfast was also nice, with a full fry up, choice of eggs and also cereal/fruits to help yourself.

The decor is a bit outdated, however it gave the hotel more character and the room was very spacious and clean.

Location wise its perfect as its less than 10mins walk from Bicester Village which we were glad we did after seeing the amount of cars trying to park at 10.30am and also the queue of cars stuck in traffic when we left. Also, town was a few minutes walk down the road with a nice pub nearby and a lovel indian resteraunt called the Taj Mahal which I thoroughly recommend.

We are already planning on staying here again when we do our xmas shopping.
