Description: If you or anyone you meet has ever wanted a dining experience that leans toward the real Mexican flavor, En Fuegos is your place. We are located on the mountainside of Mismaloya on the main road through town (tell your taxi driver to go to the ZOO and we will be on the left side across from the Tequilla Factory). You will enjoy a very short ride over cobblestone streets driving alongside the Mismaloya River. You will pass through a small town (Puebla) where TRUE Mexican people live. The first thing you will notice about our restaurant is how clean, open and welcoming it is. Roberto will be there to get your experience started. He opened the restaurant in 2013 after many years of running places like La Palapa, Vista Grill and has now taken his many years of service and opened his own fine dining restaurant. The cuisine is centered around fresh seafood caught from our own Banderas Bay and delivered to us daily. We also offer high quality beef and made to order menu items as well.

We are staying in Lomas de Mismaloya for a month and we have gone to Juan and Only four times already. The food is delicious, the family run restaurant is clean and the food is delcious and reasonable. We purchased banana and coconut pie to take home and it was also very good. I highly recommend this restaurant.

During our two weeks stay in Mismaloya, we dined and Juan and Only's almost every day. I particularly enjoyed their breakfast menu but everything they serve at any time of the day is very good. Veronica (the "Only" in Juan and Only) is a great hostess and if you are lucky enough to visit when Juan is there you will find that he is extremely knowledgeable about the area. Don't miss this super restaurant whether you are passing through on your way to the zoo or visiting the tequila places in the villa

My husband and I ate at Juan and Only twice during our 9 day stay. We had a traditional Mexican breakfast on our first morning and it was freshly made in full view of us. We liked that you can see them cooking your food. We then stopped for fish tacos one day and they were the best. Simply made but then they bring you all of the toppings to finish the taco as you like. The restaurant is very clean, friendly, and you really shouldn't miss going during your stay. It will be on the top of our list on our next visit.

We just returned from an 11 day stay at a private condo in Mismaloya. We stumbled onto Juan and Only's while walking the town. I lost track of the number of times the four of us ate there during our stay. Their fish tacos ($1.00/each) are simply amazing. They are served with a condiment tray that has lime slices, cabbage and a combination of spicy pickled beet, jicama and cauliflower. The flavors blend together perfectly! Their fresh made guacamole is worth every penny also. You can walk over to the counter and sit and watch your food all being prepared fresh. Their restaurant is as clean as any you would find in the states and their service was friendly and wonderful. It's never very crowded so you eat in a relaxed atmosphere.

It was my first foray into Mismaloya. This restaurant is very clean, and the food was good, but I was suffering with culture shock, and was timid about eating in an unknown restaurant, and also the disconnect of the poverty outside the open windows. But, the fish tacos were excellent, and I believe the economy in the area should be stimulated. I later learned the water there is completely safe. In retrospect, it was the best food I had in the area. Not at all crowded, which was true of all places we dined in there.
