My family and I stayed at the Hotel Anxanum for a couple of nights and were quite happy with the cleanliness and professionalism the hotel staff provided us. They all seem to speak english pretty well especially for one who is apparently an Austrailian native. This makes a big difference since I don't speak a word of Italian besides spaghetti and vino.

BREAKFAST: The complimentary breakfast was nice to with cookies, bread, jams, coffee and tea, juices, proscuitto and cheese, yogurts and fruits, and various packaged goodies for me to maintain my AMERICAN IDEAL WEIGHT :-)

ROOM: Clean. This is a major point for me. I'm obsessed about cleanliness. The room was simple room, with the usual lamp, closet, TV, counter and CLEAN bed sheets with no odors present. The pillows weren't as fluffy as I would like them, however they were soft. The bed was fine to.

Bathroom: Clean. I don't know if it is just me, but I haven't seen one shower curtain in Europe. Anyway this hotel has a folding glass barrier for those of us who like to stand in the shower and splash everywhere like me. The towels were soft and extra large. Soap and hairdryer provided.

Parking: We rented a car, however one night I had to park outside of the hotel property because the parking lot was full. I just woke up next morning and moved it in to the lot. There was plenty of parking in the street and I just had to walk an extra 10 feet. Living in NY, I move my car four days a week anyway.

CONCLUSION: Good hotel for your money with english speaking staff and clean. I would revisit them again.
