I have eaten there several times over the last 6 years. It has grown and changed from simple food, to a more complete menu. Presently, it is worth a visit, but avoid busier times. It is very popular with locals and neighboring towns.
Being an American, I am used to American restaurants with hovering wait staff. So the slower paced service, can weigh on me, when I prefer to eat and go.
The German style of going to a restaurant to talk and relax, is just different. So if you are short on time, go to an Imbiss.
But as German restaurants go, this is a fine place.
Check out their store which sells items from the related farm and vineyard.
If not too crowded, it can be a fun stop.
The town of Fischingen, just north of the restaurant is small but quaint.
