“For the Adventure Tourist”
Reviewed July 10, 2013

It was on my bucket list to do for a long time so I had the most amazing experience. The road is only accesible by 4 x 4, so if you don't have one it's a little hike from the parking area. To get down to the cave you have to take a steep staircase down a cliff and it is only accessible at low tide so make sure of the tide tables. BUT O SO WORTH THE TIME AND TROUBLE!!!

“Very Interesting”

Quite hectic to get to, but a wonderful find when you get there. A really good example of the beauty of nature.

“Worth the walk”
Reviewed March 7, 2013

No access during high tide, but if you plan your walk there during low tide, you will be amazed. Be prepared to get a bit wet and climb over some rocks and boulders.

“Big enough to turn an ox wagon!”
Reviewed February 25, 2013

A wonder of nature, the walk to and from the magnificent Waenhuiskrans cave as well as the cave itself makes you realize just how tiny a speck you are! Access the cave through a large hole at low tide and exit on the outside of the cave.

The darkness of the cave against the color of the water is quite magical; another world. Definitely worth a visit.

“Caves!”
Reviewed February 17, 2013

We walked there over the sand dunes and then back along the beach - wow beyond spectacular. It didn't take very long. We stopped along the way to take in the magnificent colour of the ocean. The water is so warm we so enjoyed the swim. The beach is perfect tool
