“Perfect location!”
Reviewed July 21, 2017 for a stay in July 2017

Very central, no need for a car. Plenty going on to keep you in Chania. I travelled with my elderly mother and two teenage daughters, it worked very well for us as the accommodation is spread out giving everyone space. The air conditioning was great and a must - extremely hot but the house was so cool. The roof terrace had sun all day which was great if you didn't fancy the walk to the beach! We all loved it.
Antonis was extremely helpful and organised our taxi to and from airport.

“Real Greek house in the charming old town”
Reviewed May 19, 2016 for a stay in May 2016

We were group of 5 ladies and we stayed in this charming house for a week. And we really enjoyed our stay! Actually, the house is planned for 4 people, but the owner put an extra bed on the 2nd floor for us, and it was really comfortable. Of course, staying in the old town is not the same as in the peace and quiet of the empty fields - but that was our choice, and we enjoyed the full ambience of charming Chania Venetian quater. It was sooo great to get up early in the morning, make our coffee in the tiny kitchen, then take it up to the terrace or balcony and observe the waking up of the street - cats gathering, dogs strolling, neighbourhood people going to church or market, restaurants and small shops opening... To stroll by the narrow streets of old town to the bakery for fresh spinach pies (breakfast), to run few steps to nearest shop for oranges and strawberries. In the evening coming back from our travels - to walk down the street to our "home", saying hello to all people that we meet there every day, like locals; and to end the day sitting on the bench in old harbor - just round the corner - watching blinking reflections of old town lights. The house itself is very compact, but has everything you might need, if you don't mind steep stairs (there are all in all 3 floors, so 3 sets of stairs!). For us it was added value, not a lack. The owner, dear Mr. Antonis, greeted us with basket of fruits and wine, and there was even bottled water in the house; he also kindly printed out our boarding passes. Dear Antonis, thank you very much, we would gladly stay in Archondisa again if we come to Chania with friends!

“Amazing value for money and location”
Reviewed April 26, 2016 for a stay in April 2016

Loved it! fantastic location, Roof terrace a real sun trap with sun all day. Antonis was very helpful with directions to villa, and parking. A lovely welcome pack of wine and fresh fruit. We traveled with our 2 kids aged 10, 12 in Easter Holidays (march/ april). The villa was is a fantastic location on a lovely safe street with small shops cafes restaurants bakery etc and just a minutes walk from the harbour and old town. Linen and towels changed every 3 days. Basic, but everything we needed and more. Not that we needed it but very fast wifi and satellite TV.
