We had dinner here on a recent visit to Calasetta. Things started quite well - the house red was drinkable and reasonably priced and the starter of Sardinian cheeses and salamis was also quite good. Unfortunately, both me and my wife had ordered suckling pig for our main courses. What arrived were two measly portions of stone cold meat. We asked for it to be warmed up, which clearly was not appreciated by the waitress. Obviously, sticking the plates in a microwave did nothing to crisp up the skin - which was inedible. Normally, of course, the crispy skin would be the best part of this sort of dish. We told the waitress (or owner ?) that we had not enjoyed our meal. Rather than getting an apology we received the cold shoulder - and the bill without as much as an 'arrivederci'. Well, we wouldn't have gone back anyway.
