We stayed at the hotel which hosts this rest of the same name. As a comparison we went to the restos in Lecce mentioned i Guide Michelin Rouge. The Lecce places were also nice, more sophisticated with white table cloth etc. But there is no question that the food is better in Conchiglia SG. For us w kids 8 and 11 it is also a bliss to have a relaxed atmosphere where they can roam around if legs get restless.
All food is good, with a special strength in sea food. Exceptional value for money. Puglian cuisine, but not over the top w horse in super-rich pignata sause etc, which is a but too much for me.
