Pablo was great teaching us how to surf. We spend three mornings with him in a group of four of us. He knew where to go (surfed in Tamarindo) and had the right boards for us. It was a great time and he was very friendly. I would recommend him for surfing lessons if you are in the Brasilito area.

Three friends and I were on spring break from college staying near Tamarindo. None of us knew how to surf but wanted to try, and we stumbled across Pablo Surf School when we drove by a little store near Tamarindo. Pablo was able to squeeze us in the next day and was so patient with us through the lesson. It was a lot of fun, and I will absolutely go back to learn more from Pablo next time that I'm in Costa Rica!

My surfing lesson with Pablo was the highlight of my trip! It was my first time surfing so I was prepared to be embarrassed. But I had so much fun. I signed up for it by myself but took the lesson with a lady and her son. Pablo picked me up from my hotel, Playa Flamingo Resort, took us to his souvenir store then brought us to the beach. He's a one man operation! After our quick lesson on the sand, Pablo took us out and had us take turns. There were only 3 of us so I felt like I got plenty of chances to ride the waves which were rough and came non-stop which was great for us. I definitely felt like I got my money's worth and more since I found a new sport I love. I will be recommending Pablo's Surf School to everyone I know!
