Clean and tidy. Didn't really use the the utensils available as we were up and out quite early and back late as our son and family have just moved to the area. The grounds are well kept and would probably be more welcoming during better weather. Spoke to James and he told me the history of the buildings and what was planned in the future. Would stay there again definetly. Ideally situated for exploring the surrounding areas.
5 minute drive from Portreath beach. Bungalow in lovely quite location, Owners very welcoming & helpful. steam 6 feet from patio door.
This is our third year of visiting Pigallie Barns and we are already planning our next visit. The accommodation is to a very good standard, very clean with all the amenities we would need for a weeks break. Very quiet and peaceful surroundings and conveniently situated between Porthtowan and Portreath. James is an excellent host with a very friendly disposition and one who takes excellent care of the Barns and the grounds.
It was a lovely place to stay and Colette and her husband were very helpful , the barn was very clean and had everything you needed , we would stay again if when we are in Cornwall again
Our only concern was there was no banister on the stairs which was fine for us but someone who has difficulty walking might struggle but it's not a complaint and wouldn't stop us going back

Really enjoyed our stay at The Barnes, lovely rural setting near Portreath .They are spotless and laid out really well ,with everything provided . especially liked the picnic table near the brooke . we saw squirrels and heard ows hooting ,a sound I have not heard for year's. Recived a warm welcome from the owners who are really friendly .HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !!!!
