I have stayed at Speyburn House for several years, while fishing with friends and would thoroughly recommend it. The breakfasts are superb and the rooms are very comfortable. Nothing is too much trouble. In terms of B&B accommadation you could not ask for more.

I have stayed several times at speyburn House when fishing with friends on the nearby R.Spey & can thoroughly recommend this as one of the best B&Bs you will come across . Lesley has worked hard to ensure all the rooms are well appointed, with the comfort of the guests very much in mind .
Nothing seems too much trouble - she will even bring your lunch to the fishing hut for you !
If you are planning a visit to speyside I suggest you contact her but don't leave it too late ,she tends to get booked up early .

It's often said that after a weeks fishing for Salmon you need another week to rest and recover when you get back home. After fishing for spring Salmon in Scotland for the last ten years I would say it's more then true but this year I came home just as full of energi as when I left. How can that be? Well for the first time I stayed with Lesley at Speyburn B&B! Lesley runs her B&B with such an energy and presence that you feel it's your home away from home. Everything is just perfect, the superb breakfast gives you energy to fish hard all day, your waders are dry and warm in the morning etc. All left to do for us fishermen is to dream about the big Salmon to catch the next day!

Thank you Lesley!

Lesley was not only a exelent host, she allso had knowlwdge and kontacts that made our fishing trip easier.
The full Scottish breakfast was very good and every morning there was fresh strawberries or rasberries!
I will recommend this place to anyone going to the Highlands of Scotland!

Luxury but warm accomodation, superb breackfast that set you up for the hard work that is salmon fishing..and when you come back from the Spey after, most of the time,a cold, wet and fruitless day,you get always a warm welcome from Lesley, that is really a perfect host. Better than to be at home(but don't tell to my wife,please...)!

Lesley has done the impossible and improved on perfection, despite having a poorly ankle she was the best host you could imagine.

The rooms are luxurious and extremely comfortable, and the Breakfast sets you up for the day in style.

This is my second visit and I certainly hope it wont be my last.

Room Tip: ALL the rooms are good
