Really special experience everyone should try. We had to wait awhile but it was fun. I recommend going during less popular seasons so you can experience things without a ton of people to manhandle in the dark :)

Experience the world as a blind person; recruit all your other senses to smell, touch, feel and taste what the eyes cannot see. Children are highly adaptable, and pretty soon will be running with their canes. Gain appreciation to the blind guide who will be assisting you to navigate your way in their world. Unique, shaking experience that will make you a little more appreciative of your eyesight.

Very unique and different experience make you feel how a blind men feel and sense the world around him. Its amazing to experience how your other senses of smell and touch are much more powerful in the lack of your sight. The guide done by blind people is very polite helpful with many personal stories based on daily experience. It is a MUST experience for everyone.

One of the most interesting projects in the country, The dialogue in the Dark exhibition, which started as a 6 month project in now about 10 years old and still amazing. I celebrated two Bachelorette parties to good friends there and both loved the idea.
It is a one hour well spent on givign you proportions in life and experiences you cannot get elsewhere.
The only catch about it is the need to pre-order. As the tour is in small groups of up to 10 ppl, you must plan our visit ahead of time and book over the phone at least 2-3 days in advance, and be there on time. I would combine it with a visit to the children's museum (if you are with children), or the Invitation to Silence exhibition (if you're an adult), for a full day's activity.

We went to Dialogue in the Dark during a trip in honor of my daughters bat mitzvah. We went with some Israeli friends. It was amazing! The guide, Michal, a sight impaired woman was warm and open and answered all our questions. The inability to see made us more aware of our other senses. After we came out, we always were even more grateful and appreciative of our ability to see.
I would recommend this to everyone!
