“Nine reviews of this so far - all 5 stars, this is the 10th.”

We visited Dialogue in the Dark as part of a company team building exercise. We had members of the team from 4 different countries. It was an absolutely unbelievable experience and without a doubt the best and most memorable team building exercise I have ever participated in.

We left all of our watches, mobiles etc behind and entered the dark. We had no real idea of what to expect or how long it would last. We had a walking stick and as a team we had to carry out a variety of tasks. It was completely outside of our normal comfort zone and an amazing and intense experience. We were guided by a gentleman who was blind and it was amazing how quickly he was able to recognise each of our voices and movements to understand our location.

We completed 5 different tasks and we nominated a different leader in each of them. After each task we had a feedback session ( still completing in the dark) to discuss the main points of the exercise and how we could improve.

Ast the end of the main session, and after a quick bit to eat, and a chance to catch up with our mobiles (!!) we had a feedback session that was also very good.

Overall a fantastic way to experience a different world and learn how to operate outside of our comfort zone. Very highly recommended

“Excellent experience!”

A great place to visit! Gives you a lasting impression of what it means to be blind, albeit for a short time. The guides are all blind, and you slowly become dependent on them as you enter the darkness, an interesting switch of the cards. I would surely recommend this once in a lifetime experience!

“Entertaining and educational experience”

Went to one of the new exhibitions "Dialog with time" about aging and ageism. Brilliantly designed and presented. Stimulating and entertaining, suitable for all ages. Apparently the first exhibition of its kind anywhere about aging.

“Great experience in the dark”

Imagine what could you do if no sight input from eyes...here you can try it out...it is a must go place because you won't find such unique experience anywhere else...you have to book in advance via phone...English tour is only available during week days...weekend in Hebrew.

“Amazing Experience and Very Inspiring”
Reviewed January 26, 2012

The Dialog in the Dark is definitely worth a trip to Holon- especially for people who think they've done everything in Israel. The exhibit and tour do an incredible job of getting you to feel what it must be like to be blind. We tried to book an English tour and found that they got full very quickly. We took a Hebrew tour, but mid stream, the guide realized that everyone spoke English better than Hebrew and switched. Also it is good to know that while all the food served at the end is kosher, they are able to do mehadrin for people who maintain that level. Just ask.
