I am a Hilton Diamond member (=stay in a lot of hotels per year!) and we chose this hotel because of its location and the all inclusive facilities. Reading a number of the reviews, I am not sure if we stayed in the same place! The rooms are ok - not ultra luxurious, but about par for an all inclusive in this price range. Food was ok - to good, with always more than enough to find to eat. Christmas eve dinner was really good. There are two separate restaurants where you can eat if you spend more than 3 nights here - the fish restaurant was not worth it, so try the other one.
Staff were really good and friendly and always went out of their way to help.
It can get noisy around some of the pools, but there are enough lounges nearer the beach where you can go and get quiet. You do need to be aware that the beach is public (all are in Costa Rica), so you may get approached by tour operators - I would book on-line or in the hotel as it may be a bit more but probably less hassle.
Overall, I would go back here. The value for money is great especially for families.More
