The picture on the webside looked amazing but when we came, it was just a simple hut on the beach.
We have to asked to get the hut fixed before we could move in. The door the bathroom could not look and the terressedoor as well. No net...
Had to check in twice.
The hits are so close to each other and the walls are thin - you can hear everything
Glad we just had to sleep there a few nights
So stay away

What a rip off! Super expensive made of wood huts, very uncomfortable, dirty, noisy and with no amenities whatsoever. It is looking very romantic from the booking web sites, but once you pay the 4.500 rps and you get there, immediately you realized that you have been cheated. Rude and almost inexistent staff. Hundreds of accommodation options along Mandrem beach, way better and more inexpensive!

We came to this place because we wanted to have a look on the bungalow with see view. But we couldn't visit them because the owner of the place judged we didn't have the profil to pay 4500rs per night. She said it would be a lost of time ( precious time that she spend seating behind her desk doing nothing...)
So we ended in the yab yum tree ( same price but much higher quality)
It is the worst welcoming we never ever had in goa for an pretentious bad quality place!
There are many other option around. I would definitly not recommend this expensive place!

Good location and definitely your place if you don't want to get a sleep (any at all). Rooms are wrongly built together and separated by a thin plank, so you hear everything from the adjacent rooms. It is really weird to listen other guest's talks, snoring...at night. Something is very very wrong! Will not for sure recommend this hotel to anybody. There are tons of nice bungalows in Mandrem beach, so it is better to chose any other option.

Only good thing about DBR is the location. The bungalows are together, what means that you hear absolutely everything from the other bungalows attached and also you get heard (the walls are half centimeter thick planks with a big gap between them). We saw the hotel staff watching through those wall gaps inside the guess rooms, so careful!
We stayed 2 nights and couldn't sleep...every time the other guess talked, went to the bathroom or made any noise, we woke up. It was a nightmare! Take this seriously. I am not a light sleeper at all!
We booked through booking.com and it was a rip-off. We paid 4.050 rps per night with no breakfast.
Along the beach there are hundreds of bungalows in beach first line, so take a look first in site, and negotiate the price, because Dolphin Beach Resort is not worth what we paid!
At the end, we found a beautiful resort just a couple hundred meters away, in the beach and paid 5.000 rps with breakfast and it was wonderful.

The hotel is on the beach. Very beautiful evening sunsets open from balcony. The room is small, only for sleep and take a shower. Near the hotel is a nice cafe where affordable prices and high quality cooked meals. Mandrem beach is quiet and calm. Hotel for relaxation.

We took the Suite, and we were not disappointed ; although in general the amenities are simple, the view and the calm are amazing. The suite room has a balcony with a beautiful view on the beach, and you can sleep with the sound of the waves.
