I have been going to the garden centre month on month and it gets better every time. I love the new layout of the shop, it is so open but yet intimate and encorages you to look and buy!! The cafe is great, the new menu really good, I love the king prawn chibatta.... Don't forget to sign up for loyalty points.... I love the fact the greenhouse has gone as the streamline view of the church is beautiful... Well worth a visit...

Lovely, peaceful afternoon in the garden. Gardens are mostly formal but the style of the Manor house (french/Norman, I think), gives a relaxed feel.
Some nice statuary/sculpture.
fantastic tea and cake in the cafe.

As explained below, if you visit on a Wednesday the Manor gardens (Not house) are open for a modest fee. And what a delight they are! (Look out for the unusual water feature near the house! I'll say no more!)
The gardens are excellent.
The garden centre is superb (up there with Holme Farm) There is a gift shop, seed stall, welly & wet weather wear stall etc.
Last and by no means least is a very good cafe.
Lots of free parking too

The gardens at Cranborne Manor are open to the public on a Wednesday afternoon and are accessed through the Garden Centre. The Manor is still occupied so that is why access is limited. Have tea in the tearoom at having sauntered around the several gardens in which there are several works of art. Be surprised by the water feature in front of the front door. These gardens are a wonderful retreat on a sunny afternoon. Take a stroll around the village afterwards.

Unusual and spectacularly well maintained gardens with great views. The cafe, shop and garden center were all well run and well stocked and staff knowledgeable. Best in good weather. I would definitely go back, and take my camera.
