“More than just a great garden centre”
Reviewed June 14, 2012

As explained below, if you visit on a Wednesday the Manor gardens (Not house) are open for a modest fee. And what a delight they are! (Look out for the unusual water feature near the house! I'll say no more!)
The gardens are excellent.
The garden centre is superb (up there with Holme Farm) There is a gift shop, seed stall, welly & wet weather wear stall etc.
Last and by no means least is a very good cafe.
Lots of free parking too

“Especially good on a Wednesay afternoon”
Reviewed June 12, 2012

The gardens at Cranborne Manor are open to the public on a Wednesday afternoon and are accessed through the Garden Centre. The Manor is still occupied so that is why access is limited. Have tea in the tearoom at having sauntered around the several gardens in which there are several works of art. Be surprised by the water feature in front of the front door. These gardens are a wonderful retreat on a sunny afternoon. Take a stroll around the village afterwards.

“interesting history”
Reviewed January 5, 2012

Unusual and spectacularly well maintained gardens with great views. The cafe, shop and garden center were all well run and well stocked and staff knowledgeable. Best in good weather. I would definitely go back, and take my camera.

“A lovely find”
Reviewed November 11, 2011

Whilst driving home from Salisbury we fancied a bit of lunch but didn't want to stop in a pub. We spotted the sign for a garden centre and followed it! We came to Cranborne garden centre where we had a lovely home cooked lunch of Lasagne with salad and garlic bread, and then had a huge home-made pudding of Bakewell tart and cream Yummy. We just had time for a quick look in the shop at the Christmas things before setting off home. Just what I like a good find with lovely home cooked food.We will be back again one day when we're passing.
