We arrived in Bonassola late and this was the only restaurant open that we could find, so we stopped in for dinner. We sat outside and really should have gone inside since it was still a little rain falling. I don't think we were impressed with this food. One person ordered a fish that was recommended by the chef/owner. She did take the head off and fillet it by the table but there were still bones left. We found the food in western Italy totally different from the rest of Italy. As we have been to lots of restaurants in lots of places in Italy other than the western portion, we just assumed that the food would be the same quality. Unfortunately, this is not the case. We were the only customers.
