We have visited Trethorne many times when family and friends come to visit us who have young children, and it never fails to be a hit. It has a nice family atmosphere and there is something to please everyone, from soft play for babies right up to ball pools, go-karts, bowling and dodgems for the older kids, as well as the new climbing wall, giant slide and the excellent pirate-themed ball shoot. The farm animals are delightful and the assistants always very friendly and helpful. There are some great outdoor games such as mini golf, large tube slides, giant trampolines and all kind of play houses and climbing frames for younger kids. All in all a great way to entertain younger children for an afternoon without the expense of a larger theme park.

Another visit to Trethorne resulted in another great day out. Ten-Pin Bowling followed by plenty of fun in the arcade. The food we ordered was excellent, big portions at a reasonable price.

After that we went around the leisure park where my children had plenty of fun in the soft play, trampolines, slides etc... Plenty of animals were out and about which always makes the kids happy. A great day for all.

We visited Trethorne and had a fantastic day. There are plenty of outdoor and indoor activities inc. slides, go karts, paddle boats, ball pool, indoor slides and soft play with blaster guns on the Pirate ship. All ages are covered here. I can't comment on the bowling and dodgers as we never got round to seeing them. We were having too much fun on the indoor slides.

The animals were a great addition to the visit. The only niggle was having to pay a little extra for the pony rides, but other than that it was great.

I can't understand the negative reviews, but I suppose we all have a different take on things.

I would totally recommend visiting! Thanks Trethorne for a great day :-)

This was our second visit to Trethorne Leisure Park, our first being August 2013.
Our children, aged 6 & 2 had a great day! It's rained on and off during both our visits - but there's so much to do indoors it really doesn't matter!
We loved seeing the baby chicks, only hours old!
Indoor play areas are brilliant, as are the outdoor bits - sand pit, trampolines, play areas, boating lake.
We will return again if we are staying nearby.
Certainly worth a visit!

Trethorne leisure farm is a wonderful place for a family day out. We have had a season ticket in the past when our children where younger. We always found the staff to be very friendly and the food to be pretty good and reasonable priced. The attractions have improved year on year and the children always have lots of fun whatever the weather. There is a good range of outdoor and indoor areas to play in and lots of cute animals to see and even hold! It can get very busy indoors if it is raining and it can be chilly during the winter. All in all a great place to take the children and they will be kept active all day long.
