We visited on a very showery bank holiday in may. We were greeted warmly at the gate by a gentleman that was enthusiastic and informed about all the things to see at the centre. The centre was well set out, clean and tidy. The birds and animals all looked very well cared for and happy. We were greeted by a peacock in full finery. The animals were clearly used to human interaction but had little escape routes to get away from over enthusiastic children. The staff were very friendly and informative, clearly loving their animals. I came away much more informed. The centre is set in pretty bluebell filled woodland. We wandered around deer and wallaby spotting.
To cap it all we had hot chocolate and cake in the cafe and it was excellent best cake all holiday.

We were originally going to the seal sanctuary but were put off by the price and reviews. This park was reasonably priced and very good value indeed, we will return.

A great value little wildlife park where the kids can hand feed deer! The otters are highly visible, especially at feeding time and the staff are very knowledgable.

We went on a rainy and windy day with a toddler in tow. It was great, there were plenty of otters to see (don't miss feeding time as they all come out!), along with deer, owls, rather elusive wildcats (amongst other animals). The walk in the woods was just long enough with plenty animals to see along the way. The staff doing the talks/in the shop were helpful amd friendly. Great place to go with or without kids (specially as they don't have hideous play areas with feral kids etc...). We all loved it.

Was a really enjoyable day, very informative and the opportunity to handle birds of prey which you wouldn't get included somewhere bigger. A good mix of talks and being left to wander, the cafe was also good.

Thank you for a lovely few hours on our final day away. The park is beautifully tranquil staffed by knowledgeable and helpful people. We loved the close proximity with which you could view the otters and birds of prey. To see Scottish Wildcats and know they are part of a preservation programme was very special. A value for money way to entertain all age groups. Clean, tidy facilities and a lovely tea room to complete a great day.
