Fantastic Resort

5.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed Jul 31, 2013
From the time we arrived to the time we left, we were treated to an incredible experience! My wife and children were there for one week, and we loved it so much we are hoping to go back. All of the staff did an amazing job. The general Manager Silvian consistently was asking the guests how we were doing, was there anything else they could do to make our stay more comfortable. He was excellent - attentive and not intrusive and even took our children windsurfing . The buffet breakfast was outstanding. The villa was excellent very spacious and very well equipped with a fresh tropic fruit basket left daily. The beach was approximately 20m for our villa the pool was great and only 10m away. The villas have their our plunge/spa pool, the private villa garden is great.

This resort is 30 minutes out of town which is a real benefit as this allows privacy and provides guests access to a pristine non tourist beach. the free shuttle allows travel to town for shopping or dinner if desired. I can't recommend this place highly enough!

Very impressed with the accommodation, villa was well maintained with decent levels of privacy and nice decor. The resort has everything you need with a nice private beach, decent restaurant with very relaxed friendly staff and a large tv in the villa offering a wide selection of classic movies such as Blade 1, 2 and of course 3.

FMV is a bit out of the way from the main town but there are great transport links and the staff were all very helpful in arranging day trips to local area of interests. Would highly recommend hiring a scooter (about 200 VND for the day) and driving along the scenic roads to see Mui Ne.

The staff and manager Silvian were also awesome when it came to returning some items I had left behind. They arranged for it to be quickly sent by coach to Saigon where I managed to collect them no problem. Overall, very happy with the stay at FMV; a very relaxed resort where you can take things at your own pace and there is ample opportunity to take in the surrounding attractions.

This resort was almost perfect in every way. The villa was immaculate, and we loved the private Jacuzzi and the privacy. The pool was also great, as well as the beach. The service was really the highlight. Everyone was incredibly helpful but also discreet, and some really went out of their way to be kind to our family with small children. Make sure you get the barbeque, which comes directly to your villa!

However, I do have one caveat. Bring some strong bug repellent because the living rooms of the two-bedroom villas are open to insects, and the sand fleas will eat you alive on the beach.

Full Moon Village is so beautiful the staff are eager to make you feel at home, the manager Silvian is so nice and welcoming and gives great adv with tours and what to see you really have everything you could want a private beach private big backyard beautiful big clean pool as well as restaurant with really fresh made to order Vietnamese or western food no need to leave resort except for the white sand dunes 20 min away you can hire jeep for that, as well as bus that can take you into town. Do not confuse Full Moon Village with but Full Moon Beach which is in town this accommodation is no comparison to the villa 30 minutes out of town. I stayed at FM Village 3 nights and moved into town for 1 night to Full Moon Beach BIG mistake wished I hadn't moved. Staying at FM village was a perfect way to end my 3 busy weeks in Vietnam so relaxing and pretty loved the staff again highly recommend anyone wanting to relax stay here

This resort was good for a nice relaxing stay before going back to work. We stayed in a two bedroom villa which had a nice open living area and private garden but sadly no pool in the garden like some of the other villas. The whole resort is kept very clean and tidy with daily room cleaning and gardeners constantly keeping the grounds tidy.

The villa was nice and spacious with pretty much everything needed for any length of stay. The only issue is the living area and bathroom have decorative panels with large openings in them which allow mosquitoes into the villa. The bedroom is air-conditioned and there's a mosquito net over the bed.

Food from the full menu was pretty good and the included breakfast was also quite good. We had the private BBQ at our villa which we felt was reasonable value and a nice treat.

The pool is really nice and well kept with a decent amount of loungers and plenty of trees if you need some shade. On the beach there are some surfboards, kayaks and a few other things which can be used free of charge along with the option of surf lessons for an extra fee.

The distance from the town could be an issue for some but there is a free shuttle bus and the public bus stops a few hundred metres down the road. The trip to the main area of Mui Ne takes 20-30mins so not too bad.

Overall we were very happy with the Full Moon Village and would return again.
