Outstanding PP right on Lake Superior coastline. Beautiful long sandy beaches. Plenty of sites right on the water. Only downside is that the potable water fill and dump station is at the furthest end of the park from the check in gatehouse. Gives you a good tour of the park along the way!! Located right off Hwy 17, so a bit of traffic noise. Scenery and sites make up for any noise!!

Always visited the park to spend the day but camped out for the first time. Most sites are best or trailers specially at the back. Most sites by the lake are very good for trailers and tent. It rained in the evenings both days we stayed. Despite the rain, we had a great time. The park is beautiful. Nature trail was one of the easiest trail to do and worth it. Beach is great – Sandy beach without the salt. It is a worth our stay.

Large. Dog and child friendly. Very quiet compared to other camp grounds. Dog friendly beach. Beautiful bathrooms and showers. Awesome view of Lake Superior.

First time camping here and I found it too big. To many people. The campsite is huge !! We were in site 464 way at the end. It was noisy at night with traffic as you are pretty much right at the highway.
Had to stop so this worked out but I won’t campnthere again.

The campground is big and has a beautiful beach. The lake is clean and clear. There is a portion of the beach where dogs are allowed. I really enjoyed my stay and I hope to go there again.
