“Wow, what a refreshing change.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 25, 2013 via mobile

Visited the Moorings today for a drink and some food after a long walk and will definitely return. The atmosphere was warm, welcoming and friendly, great selection of drinks and a full, comprehensive menu.
The food was lovely, with great portion size and value for money. Service was friendly and prompt without feeling watched and under pressure.
We had our dog with us and were concerned that this would be a problem, but the pub signs clearly state Dogs Welcome and he was. Staff gave a bowl of water for our panting pup and plenty of tickles for his scruff.
Overall a great pub with great service and lovely food/drink. Look forward to our next visit.

We had a lovely lunch here on Saturday. Great choice on the menu.
Nice atmosphere in the pub with outstanding views over the canal marina.
All in all a lovely pub with friendly staff and fantastic views. Delicious food, great choice and very reasonably priced. Will definitely visit again.

“Very gastro- pub!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 1, 2013

Stopped here for second visit en route to daughters in Leeds.
We only had from the snack end of the menu , lamb kuftas, side order of hand cut chips and chicken pate for Mrs. Just had a lemonade and a soda water so cannot comment on beer quality or price.
Food good as before. Chips big and floury, not greasy so able to eat whithout feeling guilty about waistline. Sitting overlooking the canal. Well worth the diversion.
