Visited earlier tonight for the first time. Was hoping for better. We ordered Nachos, Flautas, baby calamari and stuffed jalopenos. The jalapenos were nice, the calarmari ok but pretty crisp, the nachos were slightly overcooked but nice, the flautas were almost empty instead of being "stuffed".
For mains we ordered chimichagas, chicken and shredded pork and a shredded beef quesadilla. After clearing our starters we had to wait over an hour for the mains, with only half the restaurent full, pretty poor.
After complaining, our food arrived within minutes. My quesadilla was cold on top, presumably from standing, but otherwise excellent.
My guests pork chimachanga was ok, and had a nice sauce, in fact it had two different sauces presumably because the chicken chimachanga had no sauce at all and was extremely dry and horrible as a result, Chef error on a big scale.
We complained again about this but nothing was done other then they promised to "have a word". Not good really.
You woudl think that they could at least serve what they advertise instead of some random different meal.
We declined deserts.
Drinks are pretty expensive, six small beers added £30 to the bill.
The waitresses and waiter were keen to help when required.
Not sure whether I will go again, I enjoyed my meal more than my guests, so its possible but at over £35 a head it will be a while. There is better value to be had.
