When you see the gigantic mountains, the vegetation, the tell tale signs of waterfalls and the sounds of unseen animals and birds, you begin to feel very small in the whole scheme of things of the universe.

The roads leading to the view point are not tarred. You need an all terrain vehicle. If you have a regular car you would need to park on the tarred road and walk about one kilometer or more.
At the end the views were great ! It was quite misty when we went so we couldnt see the town below clearly, but overall very nice.

Basically you will be viewing the City of Salem down below from various angles at most of the view points of Yercaud. This one is different. It offers spectacular view of the valley.
But, the drive for the last one kilometer or so is extremely dreadful and horrible. Better to walk this distance than driving. Also, it is quite deserted. Should be careful if you are not going there in a big group.
