stopped for 2 nights. the pub is excellent, especially the food and the friendly service. Rooms are well appointed and a decent size. only drawback is that some are single glazed so you hear some road noise.
Ignore any reviews pre July 2013 as its been under new management since then and they are doing a great job. I'd also ignore the review that slates the food and recommends the other pub in the village - I can't believe that is a true review!
I think this will merit 5 stars soon - all they need to do is to double glaze some rooms and they have a wishlist of what they want to do. Highly recommended

Room Tip: book direct and ask for a double glazed room

Just had sunday lunch at the falcon. The staff are really pleasant and are very friendly. The sunday lunch is the best sunday lunch that I have had out in a longtime. The Yorkshire pudding is homemade which makes a pleasant change, the meal was piping hot and there was certainly plenty. I would recommend this restaurant as it is comfortable inside and makes you feel relaxed. Will most definitely return

Stayed here with my family for my dads 70th birthday on a busy Saturday night. When we arrived we were shown to our room which was is a separate block to the actual pub/restaurant, a definate plus as there's no noise in the rooms. The room itself was spotlessly clean, sizeable and had the expected fridge with mini-bar and TV. The en suite was large, clean and all the complementary soaps/shampoos were present. Not sure if some rooms have baths, but ours had a shower which got to temperature very quickly and provided a powerful stream of water.

The bar is very well stocked and the staff were brilliant, just could not do enough for us. The highlight of our stay was the food. The menu was diverse enough for any palette and the food was cooked to a very high standard and the presentation really was top quality. All excellent stuff.

As for faults. I am really struggling to think. Perhaps the coffee could have been slightly warmer with breakfast, but that really is grasping at something to recommend for an improvement.

While there we found out that they also allow dogs to stay, though obviously they are not allowed in the restaurant.

To sum up, highly recommended for an overnight stay or a meal out. The staff are sure to make you welcome.

Room Tip: The higher room numbers are further away from the road. We stayed in number 8 which was furthest awa...

Living in Warwick we have passed this pub many times but on an impulse we did on this occasion stop and what a revelation, I don't normally rate pubs if I haven't eaten or stayed overnight there but this is an exception because entering a pub on a cold wet January Friday to be met with warmth from not only the log burner but the staff, I feel I need to give praise where praise is due. It is so nice to be met with service from a barman who makes you feel welcome and can have dialogue with his new customers a place like this deserves success. We only stayed for 45 minutes but it was relaxing and enjoyable experience and we will be coming here again on a proper evening out to try the food.

We stayed at the Falcon in one of their rooms visiting friends in the area. Very good room, lovely and warm, neat clean, and comfortable. It is on a busy road , but it is not really a problem, and we got a good nights sleep. The breakfast was excellent as was the mushroom soup we had the previous day for lunch. It was the best mushroom soup we have ever had, anywhere, served with style and aplomb! We are sure that the rest of the menu would be excellent and we would have no hesitation in recommending the Falcon.

I stayed at the Falcon for 4 nights in December 13, whilst on business in Warwick.
All the staff here are friendly, helpful and approachable and very professional.
The food menus are varied and the food is very good and well presented and isn't that expensive.
The rooms are good, clean and good value. Yes there is some noise from the road, but it didn't stop me from getting a good nights sleep,
I will definitely stay again when back in the area.
I would recommend anyone to stay if they need a good value pub with v good food, staff, service and rooms as well.
