This was our first time ever staying in a Sandals and it did not disappoint! The property was beautiful, we enjoyed the restaurants and activities but what we enjoyed the most was the friendliness of the staff! Everyone was great but some was extra special: Leon, Acuila, Tiffany, Javaughn, Demar, Nauda and Marlon all made our trip more memorable in their own special ways! Thanks for a great 20th anniversary trip!

We went to SSC from 1/10/20-1/17/20. Weather was perfect. We did not mind the ride to or from the resort. It is worth a few bumps! The wait staff and bartenders were friendly exept for one or two grumps. Tevar, our waiter for our private dinner had a gleaming personality and is aspiring to become a butler and he should be put on the fast track! Other staff we enjoyed were Ashani at Bayside and Schooners. He was our adopted son for the week. Also, Vernard and Simon, Russell at Loyalty and Jonior from Housekeeping. We are done with the party scene, so the Dutch pool was perfect for us. We stayed in the Dutch Village and have no complaints with our room. Aside from a couple loose fixtures in the shower, we had good water pressure and hot water. At the end of the day, that is most important. We were told the ocean was unusually rough the first couple of days due to a storm out at sea and full moon. By the end of the week it was very calm. They released baby turtles on Saturday and that was an incredible experience. The only real negative about this resort is the sea grass you have to walk on in the water, but the resort can't really do anything about that. Take water shoes and you will be fine. Never had to wait at any of the restaurants. Food was very good.

Room tip: second floor of Dutch Village had limited ocean view

SSC offers great food, nice rooms & beautiful grounds, but I have to say that the Playmakers made our vacation truly amazing. I hope management realizes that this special group of entertainers are instrumental in repeat bookings at South Coast. From day 1, Leon went above and beyond to get to know each of us. He sought us out and included us in activities, made sure we tried Jamaican patties (awesome!), had the bartender make us “Leon-sicles” (also awesome!) and made sure we danced every night. He always has a huge smile on his face & clearly loves what he does. We were so touched when he came to see us off as we boarded the shuttle to the airport. By the end of day 2 Tiffany had adopted us and quickly became part of the family! (Hi “Tim” ). She made sure we always had everything we needed, treated us like VIPs, ate lunch and dinner with us, brought us drinks, and kept us laughing all of the time. She met us the morning we were leaving to make sure we received the beautiful crafts that we had earned with activity points. Chevon, Glenroy, Shavia, TT, Sejeon and Owen also went out of their way to make our stay wonderful. We looked forward to the shows every night – what a group of extremely talented dancers and singers! Even though they had to be tired after working so hard all day and performing their hearts out every evening, they still waited outside Le Cabaret to give hugs and thank people for coming. We can’t wait to go back to see our friends again!

5-Star Experience!
The best time of year to visit! Temps in the 80's, no crowds, and outstanding service.
Visually stunning, delicious food in all restaurants, beautiful pools and beaches.
Resort surrounded by nature preserve made it feel like we had the island to ourselves. We plan to return every year!

Room tip: US power outlets, so no need for adapters.
