We spent a week here in September 2014. It was part of a month-long holiday in Italy and this was by far the best part of that month! The villas are 250-year-old buildings restored by a master craftsman in true Tuscan style. The furniture was comfortable and chosen to blend with the decor. Having a kitchen to cook in worked very well for us. We loved the proximity to the charming towns of Cetona and Chiusi as well as the many hill towns in the area, both Tuscan and Umbrian. The property is so peaceful and the pool was exquisite with a lovely view off through fields of sunflowers. Our hostess, Beatrice Cordeschi was a delight. We will return again I am sure.
My husband and I rented this villa for 2 weeks in July 2013; we rented the full property, for up to 20 guests (we had between 11 and 16 each of the two weeks). I had stayed in 6 other villas in Tuscany, and loved each visit--but this was by far the nicest villa, with the best views, the best pool, the most comfortable rooms, the most convenient location...I cannot rave enough! There are individual apartments for some guests, each with their own small kitchens. The main floor is like a lodge--warm and comfortable, and so easy and pleasant to live in. The panoramic view from wherever you are are breathtaking--the best of Tuscany. The pool is large and inviting. The location is ideal--10 minutes to the train station, a short drive to my favorite towns--Pienza, Monelpulciano, Montelcino, Siena; an easy train or drive to Florence. We plan to return often. All our guests said it was the best holiday of their lives. We feel the same! Owner Beatric Cordeschi cannot be more helpful or more gracious. We splurged and hired a chef for 10 or the 14 nights--and were so happy to have done this. Cuocoadomicilio (www.cuocoadomicilio.info) sent us chef Giorgio Di Vulolo and his assistant Loredana Bosco--who were applauded each night by our guests; the food was Tuscan and fabulous. Truly the vacation of a lifetime--a villa to visit over and over again.
