I had a very good experience with high quality teaching service and photographer. They picked me up from my hotel in Canggu and we went to the beach. Very nice atmosphere between the people there and between the teachers! I definitely recommend this school for high quality surfing lessons!

This year we decided to come back to Bali for the 2nd time as we really loved it the first time we came. Being a surf enthusiast, I decided to take up some more lessons with Surf Is Up Bali as I had done 2 years ago when I first came to Bali. I took several lessons in August and each and every time, the lesson left me with a permanent smile for the rest of the day. I particularly appreciated the one time they canceled the lesson because they told me the conditions were not good and I would not enjoy it. The surf instructor was with me at all times which helped me catch many waves but also made me feel super safe. He gave me constant feedback so I could understand what I was doing wrong and focus on improving my mistakes. If you are in Canggu and want to take some surf lessons, do check out these guys. They come highly recommended!

My daughter loved how patient the instructor was and how she learned the best way to get on the board, He also gave her local tips on travel within that area. She feels confident that she can now learn to surf--her first lesson she only made it up a few times for a few seconds but felt very accomplished and had great fun.
