“Overlooking the sea”
Reviewed July 1, 2013 via mobile

This hotel has positives and negatives.Breathtaking view but you walk up the hill. Big and clean pool but old sunbeds. Big room but needs renovation. Breakfast included but the quality is not for a 4 star. Quiet but if you want to eat need to walk until the center. I thing that with a renovation in the whole building it would be worth visiting.

Pleasant room on the third floor with excelent views over Tolo and the sea beyond. Nice large balcony to have drinks with friends. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We stayed here because we had friends stopping here, they were staying for 2 weeks. Air conditioned rooms a must at this time of year. Spa type bath and shower in the room. One draw back in the room was no tea or coffee making facilities. In the morning an excelent buffet breakfast with everything you could want from a cooked breakfast, to a cold table with cooked meats and cheese. Only one type of coffee, but many flavours of tea and hot chocolate.
The big draw back is the hotel is at the top of a steep hill, which means a climb at night after evening meal as the restaurant was not open in the evening.
But overall we enjoyed our stay.

My Wife and I stayed here for four nights on a holiday booked with the "The Travel Department" on a half board basis. This Hotel is based high up from the main street about 80 meters which can prove a bit of a slog going uphill due to the steep incline.

The Hotel itself is first class with all its amenities, Great breakfast serving hot and cold food to suit all tastes.Dinner in the evening had a good selection to choose from also.Very comfortable bed and shower facilities. The only problem i had which was minor as we were out most days is there was only one English speaking channel with very bad reception. No fridge, but the room had a safe with no charge for the key. The room had a large balcony with the most amazing views of Tolon Bay and the surrounding Mountains. We were on the third floor which is serviced by two lifts which were very fast. It boasts a large swimming pool at the front of this Hotel. We were very pleased with our stay and would highly recommend this Hotel.

Staff very friendly and courteous and drink prices in the bar very reasonable. It has a supermarket nearby which was very handy for buying bottled water, etc and very reasonable prices also.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the front of Hotel for amazing sea views.

I stayed here one night with a group and the hotel is family owned and run very well. They are continually working to make it better. They are in the process of shaving down a hill to give the tour buses better access for unloading. Lots of marble like most Italian and Greek places. The view is of the Mediterranean and that is what I liked. The bed was not soft but guess you can get by that by considering the view off the balcony!!!

A real treat! Friendly staff, great location, good food, great views of the sea. Good internet connection, and nice, close walk to the main street shops, restaurants, and pubs, etc. If possible, I'll definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: Sea view rooms are the ones to get!

After a long, hot day of touring, we arrived in a quaint little seaside town of Tolo. We entered from the back down a long strange hallway and finally out to the lobby. It was large and pleasant with a big TV We were quickly given our keys and up to the 2nd floor to our room. We had a wonderful view from our large balcony of the harbor. It was so pretty we could have easily spent all night out there. A table and two chairs were provided. We ordered up wine and snacks and just enjoyed the moonrise while we sipped and remembered the day. Each balcony was separated by a knee wall so we could talk to our neighbors if we wanted or we could move our chairs back a bit to the higher part of the wall for more privacy.
The room was good size but the bed was low to the floor, hard mattress and medium hard pillows. The bathroom had very modern amenities including red glass sink and jetted shower. In reality, the shower jets almost cut through me so i had to turn them off and the glass sink would not stay shiny clean. It would spot easily with water and the Shower also got the floor soaked. I couldn't keep it from flooding out. There is a drain in the floor so guess it was made that way!

Room Tip: Don't know if all rooms face the harbor but definitely ask since the only other view would be of...

Breakfast is ok, however, can be improve with more food varieties. Enjoyed our stay here.
