Came here after reading all the polarised reviews. Food was simple but very good and we all enjoyed our meal (2 adults and 2 children).
Manager was not pushy or rude and perfectly polite.
Only major caveat is the location - noisy fast road next to the restaurant and we were the only people there at 8pm on a August evening mid week. When we drove past on several other nights they're was normally only one or two tables of paying customers.
Very good value though. Most mains below €10 and a litre of house wine was €6.
