If you want to head to an island which is a bit less touristy then here is your place. Just approx £5 return on a taxi boat and about a 20min or so boat ride you arrive on Badija from Korcula harbour. We got off the boat to find wild deer walking around which was bizarre and amazing. We walked away from where we docked as it seemed the busiest and was near the bar/restaurrant. Walking around the island you are pretty much on your own, hardly anyone was around and we found a quiet spot under the trees to have a picnic. There isn't so much of a beach here but we did find one small one after walking around which had amazing water to swim in. Badija also has a medieval Franciscan monastery on it and we were lucky enough to see a service that took place outside. One of the most unspoilt places I have ever been too, really beautiful and a must see.
