I went here for breakfast several times. They make delicious sandwiches and breakfast combo. It is not a fancy place but the food is good and the price is right. It takes a while to get your order but I notice that was in most places I went to in P.R.

Rico Pan serves amazing breakfast! We came here everyday before we start our activity. If you have a sweet tooth, visit them and check out their variety of home made bread, cakes and donuts. Their bread pudding is divine and their flan is rich. My husband tried the tres leches and they were delicious too. For every visit we made we only spend $20+ for both of us inclusive of full breakfast meal, drink and dessert. If you're tired of hotel breakfast and don't want to pay $25/person then pay this little haven a visit.

I got to the bakery to eat something quick. But seconds later after getting in, i saw beautifull dishes that were serving then i got curious so i order a random one, OMG best desition ever getting Here. I got the house special "Rico Pan Sandwish" i though i would get a simple sandwish But NO, it even came with French Fries, as all the sandwish on the menù, it was Huge, and i got it for a nice Price... i Had to tell you Guys, i Totally recommend this place not only for break fast or lunch even for all the pastry they are nice and beautifull looking and they Taste so delicious, i'd try the "quesitos" and they were so creamy so tasty and also i'd got a Cheese cake For my Wife... Since 2 weeks she try it i have to get at least one every day she is in love with this place pastry so i Think we will need a Gym pretty soon because of this delicious Situation haha

To start off, we've been here 5 times in 7 days so far... We still have a couple days to go and will be back again. Although the first thing you notice is all the wonderful pastries, don't overlook their sandwich menu. Breakfast any time you want it. Delectable, well stacked multi-meat sandwiches. Try the Tripelata! Try the Rico Pan. Don't forget the Cubano. Actually, try them all. Each is $6.00 and large. Unless you're very hungry, you might want to share. All the meats are high quality and the coffee (more like a latte here and most places in PR) is top notch. Get yourself a pastry too. Many are coconut based and also have guava jelly.

Like a lot of places in Rio Grande, the exterior is not attractive. Just ignore that, go inside and you'll become a regular like we did.

The bakery does have a ledge and chairs near the front window if you want to eat there. It looks like they're also just days away from completing their renovation to the dining room next door. That room was closed during our visits. BTW, for what it's worth, we always see locals coming in for bread at all times of the day. FYI, some of the staff speak English but not everyone.
